NYERI ADOLPHUS
Nyeri Adolphus is a Detroit-based artist and filmmaker whose work finds beauty in the unembellished moments of everyday life. Through her film photography and cinematic storytelling, she captures a quiet honesty—what she describes as “life as it is.”
Her images, often spanning Detroit’s landscapes, intimate portraits, and travels abroad, invite viewers to pause and recognize the completeness within simplicity. She earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan, where she double majored in Film, Television, and Media, and Russian Language and Literature.
